April
400 Yutong buses were exported to Cuba, among which were 200 CKD buses and CBU buses respectively. This was the largest order both in volume and value. The value was up to 240 billion Yuan RMB. The export also included aspects of technology transfer, brand license, financing, transport of CKD and CBU bus, and after-sale service. 
August
On August 17, an agreement on strategic cooperation between Zhengzhou Yutong Group, the parent corporation of Yutong Bus Co., Ltd, and China Export & Credit Insurance Corporation was duly signed, which was the first agreement between an automobile manufacturer and a national policy-based financial institution, accelerating the pace of internationalization of China automobile manufacturers by means of financial instrument, a new phase of China automobile export.
September
A contract of more than 30 million US dollars was concluded between Saipa Diesel Company of Iran and Yutong. The contract included the export of 500 complete vehicles and parts of 500 CKD buses. This was another large order in 2005, also a mark for Yutong marching into the Middle East market. The intention of cooperation set a solid foundation for developing the business in Middle East.
October
Yutong made an agreement with China National Aero-Technology Import & Export Corporation Beijing Company to export 630 buses to Cuba. It was said that this was the largest order of bus export in China in 2005. The contract included 430 CBU buses and 200 CKD buses, amounting to 50 million US dollars. The average price of an individual bus exceeded 600 thousand Yuan RMB. The buses were used in long-distance passenger transport. This was the second order of Cuba in 2005, which indicated the acknowledgement of Cuba to the quality and service of Yutong buses. Yutong made the initial achievement thanks to its mode of constant overseas development.
On October 15. PULLMAN Company of Chile bought 31 Yutong buses of five newest models including ZK6891HG. According to the statistics, in 2005, Yutong exported more than 40 buses to Chile. Besides Cuba, Yutong exploited a second market in Central America.
November
At the first of November, a new bus developed in Yutong has been shipped to U.S.A from Tianjin Port. According to the strategy of Yutong company, under the great help of the agent of U.S.A, personnel in the Group of America Region of the Overseas Market Department and the engineers of the Project Team of the Technology Division of our company worked together, in line with the laws and regulations of Department of Transportation of U.S.A, in consideration of the actual road conditions and technological requirements in U.S.A, to overcome the technological difficulties one by one. After sixteen months’ endeavor, the bus meeting the requirements of the market of U.S.A was turned out. American market is famous for its high standards. Entering American market shows that Yutong has attained the world advanced level in technology and quality of products.
December
On December 5, the ceremony for exporting 630 buses to Cuba was held in Tianjian Port by China National Aero-Technology Import & Export Corporation Beijing Company and Yutong company, the first 80 buses was destined for Cuba from Tianjin Port.

Year 2006
February
ZK6831DA buses independently developed by Yutong successfully passed the certification of DOT of U.S.A. They were exported to U.S.A and served as the express buses to carry passengers to and from airports. The history that no China buses were exported to U.S.A was thus ended.
March
On March 18, the ceremony for exporting the 1000th bus to Cuba was held in Yutong Group. Seven representatives from Cuba, including the minister of the Department of Transportation of Cuba, Mr. Peso, ambassador of Cuba to China, Mr. Alberto R.Arufe, commercial counselor of Cuba embassy to China, and more than ten representatives from China, including the leaders of China National Aero-Technology Import & Export Corporation Beijing Company, China Export & Credit Insurance Corporation and Henan Province, attended the ceremony.
On March 29, The Sixth Busworld Asia of BAAV was held in Shanghai International Exhibition Center. Yutong won the award: Award for Exporting and Marketing of the Best Builder of CBU Bus, BAAV 2006. It was the first time for China automobile company to win the global award.
May
A ship loaded with 35 units of ZK6118HGA Yutong buses left China for Mozambique. It was the largest export volume of top grade city buses made in China.
June
On June 24, the Symposium of the Problems and Solutions of China’s Automobile Export are partly sponsored by Yutong Group and was held in Zhengzhou. More than one hundred government officials, experts and scholars of automobile attended the symposium to research how to promote China automobile export and raise the competitiveness of automobile enterprises.
At the end of June, 3rd Syria Auto Show, which focused wide attention, was grandly held in the New Exhibition Center of Damascus, the capital of Syria. As the representative of China bus industry, Yutong exhibited the brand and strength of China’s bus.

At the first half year, Yutong exported 972 buses, an increase of 112% compared with the same period of the last year, once again leaving its competitors behind.
